Qualifications & Experience
2-7 years of experience with at least one cloud provider (preferably AWS)
experience with at least 1 programming language (Python or TypeScript preferred)
proficient in shell scripting
understands how APIs are structured (JSON, HTTP/HTTPs, GET, POST, PUT etc.)
good understanding of databases
experience with designing and implementing CI/CD processes and version control
experience with implementing logging, monitoring and alerting solutions
extensive experience with at least one IaC tool (Terraform, CloudFormation etc.)
extensive experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes etc.)
good troubleshooting skills
basic understanding of security practices
basic knowledge of backup strategies
good communication & presentation skills
Your responsibilities
deployment and maintenance of various software solutions
defining tasks and giving time estimates
writing clean, maintainable code and testing it (with focus on Bash and Python)
collaborating and communicating with stakeholders and the product team
being able to present your solutions in front of stakeholders and/or a group of colleagues
proactively communicating with other team members and stakeholders
using agile methodologies in development (if you don’t know them yet, we will teach you)
participating in code reviews, pairing, and other forms of knowledge-sharing
continually improving your skills and pushing others to expand their knowledge
working in a cross-functional team
