Right now, we’re establishing a Salesforce Platform Center of Excellence (CoE) to create a scalable, governed, and cost-efficient Salesforce landscape across Porsche and its global markets.
As part of our System Team, you’ll play a key role in making that happen, driving the transition from project-based delivery to a platform-centric operating model.
Your focus will be on building internal Salesforce expertise, increasing transparency around licensing, and reducing dependency on external consultants. Over time, you’ll establish and lead the Salesforce Knowledge Hub - a central source of knowledge, standards, best practices, and enablement across all domains. In doing so, you’ll help shape how Salesforce is understood, adopted, and scaled across Porsche for years to come.
Who are we looking for?
Qualifications & Experience
- 7+ years of experience with Salesforce (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud; Marketing/Data Cloud is a plus)
- practical experience in Customer Data Management and a solid understanding of SF APIs and integration patterns.
- strong understanding of Salesforce licensing models and platform architecture.
- ability to connect technical setups with cost structures and business impact
- experience in documenting solutions and sharing knowledge in a structured way
- interest in building platforms and capabilities – not just delivering projects
- strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- experience with Agile or hybrid development methodologies
- strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly
- ability to work independently and collaboratively in a development team
- fluency in English
Your responsibilities
- acting as a technical expert for Salesforce licenses and products across multiple clouds
- translating business use cases into optimal license and architecture setups
- supporting the implementation of a centralized license management and chargeback model
- building and scale a Salesforce Knowledge Hub (documentation, best practices, trainings)
- documenting solutions and ensure knowledge is reusable and accessible across teams
- advising teams on cost-efficient and scalable platform usage
- collaborating with architects, product teams, and business stakeholders
- strengthening internal capabilities to systematically reduce reliance on external consultants
- leveraging your development background to evaluate the feasibility of "Clicks vs. Code," ensuring that solutions are architected for long-term
- defining tasks and providing time estimates
- writing clean, maintainable code and testing it
- rolling out new features
- collaborating with Product Owners, stakeholders, and other teams
- presenting your solutions in front of stakeholders and/or a group of colleagues
- proactively communicating with other team members and project stakeholders
- participating in code reviews, pairing, and other forms of knowledge sharing
- continually improving your skills and pushing others to go forward with their knowledge
- working in a cross-functional team
